Brad Bansner

Brad first picked up an electric guitar on October 7, 1989, and has hardly put it down since.
Along the way he also picked up some chops on keyboards and bass.
Brad has always placed emphasis on the music writing process as being even more important than playing ability. He allows free form playing to provide the initial spark of an idea, then fine tunes those ideas. Brad has never gotten into a physical altercation with a fellow band member, despite rumors to the contrary.
Brad was a founding member and lead guitarist of the Philadelphia-based punk jazz/improv band ICU during the mid-90's.
Some of Brad's all-time favorites: Frank Zappa, John Zorn (and company), King Crimson, Tom Waits, Pink Floyd, Mr. Bungle, Ozric Tentacles, Jethro Tull, Porcupine Tree, The Flower Kings, and Charles Mingus.
